Washington, D.C. (December 5, 2012): Enactus has announced the 2013 World Cup will take place September 29 to October 1st in Cancun, Mexico.
Once a year, the National Champion Enactus teams from around world meet at World Cup where they present the results of their community outreach projects to a prestigious group of international business leaders.
“This will be our first time to hold the World Cup in Latin America and we’re excited about the opportunity to bring our signature event to such a dynamic and important country as Mexico,” says Alvin Rohrs, President & CEO, Enactus.
Enactus is a community of student, academic and business leaders committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to transform lives and shape a better more sustainable world.
The Canadian Enactus Champion, who will represent the country at the World Cup in Mexico, will be crowned on May 8, 2013 in Toronto at the Enactus Canada National Exposition.
