2021 WINTER COLLABORATION SUMMIT REGISTRATION
ENACTUS CANADA WINTER COLLABORATION SUMMIT REGISTRATION
For the first time ever, Enactus Canada is hosting a winter Collaboration Summit! The goal of this summit is to bring together Enactus students from across the country in preparation for the upcoming virtual event season! Students will participate in three training events where they will get to learn new skills, share best practices, and get prepared for the Enactus Canada Regional and National Expositions!
The Winter Collaboration Summit will take place virtually over the course of three days and everyone on your team is welcome to join us. That’s right, EVERYONE! While we encourage students to participate in all three sessions, it is not mandatory if your schedule does not allow that.
Day 1: Enactus Canada Competition Training & Best Practice Sharing
Date: Tuesday, January 19th from 6-8pm EST
Enactus Canada Program Managers will take you through all of the details for the 2021 event season including event details, National Challenge competition judging criteria, reporting and more. Immediately following that, we will host everyone’s favourite session: Best Practice Sharing! You’ll get split up into topic-based breakout rooms (that you register for below) and discuss the challenges and successes you are experiencing with students from across the country.
Day 2: A Practical Guide to Making Awesome Videos Presented by Notch Video
Date: Wednesday, January 20th from 3-4pm EST
Do you have a great idea? Are you looking for the perfect way to tell your story? No problem.
Making a video doesn’t have to be scary. It can be a total blast and the results can really help sell your idea.
Join us as we have the team from Notch Video discuss how to create engaging content through creative storytelling.
This presentation will outline best practices, and showcase helpful tips and strategies to get you going on your video making journey – followed by a Q+A.
Day 3: Presentation and Storytelling Training with Meaghen Quinn, Associate Professor, Drama, and Presentations Coach at the University of Windsor
Date: Thursday, January 21st from 6-8pm EST
In this interactive workshop, you will learn storytelling tools including physical and verbal communication skills. You will practice techniques that will help enhance your ability to engage an audience and deliver a message. You will leave with a toolbox full of quick and simple communication and improvisation tools that will help you improve your stage presence and ability to tell a compelling story.
The deadline to register is Friday, January 15th at 11:59pm EST.
