Enactus - Central Regional 2014-348TORONTO, ONTARIO (March 17, 2014) – Rylan Schwarze, owner of Ry Guy Magic and full-time student at Bishop’s University, has been named 2014 Student Entrepreneur Regional Champion for Central Canada by this country’s largest student leadership development organization, Enactus Canada, and proud program supporter, the John Dobson Foundation, as part of the Student Entrepreneur National Competition.

Rylan received the title of Student Entrepreneur Regional Champion after beating out three other student entrepreneurs from across Central Canada at the Enactus Canada Regional Exposition on March 14 in Toronto.

A panel of local entrepreneurs and business leaders voted Rylan regional champion for his progressive business savvy and enthusiasm for making his dream a vibrant enterprise.

Ry Guy Magic is a variety entertainment company that performs magic and circus stage shows throughout Ontario and Quebec.  Striving to entertain audiences of all ages, Ry Guy Magic incorporates incredible feats of magic with skillful circus arts and various dangerous stunts to form an experience like no other.

“Rylan is very focused on making his business successful by expanding across Canada and around the world,” said Enactus Canada president Nicole Almond. “That entrepreneurial spirit is what built this country and what we hope to inspire in other Canadian students.”

Rylan will compete against five other Student Entrepreneur Regional Champions from across Canada for the national title at the 2014 Enactus Canada National Exposition in Calgary, Alberta taking place April 28-30. The National Champion will receive a $10,000 cash prize and take home the John Dobson Cup.
