(TORONTO, ON) May 14, 2024 – Enactus students from Fleming College was awarded the 2024 RBC Future Launch Project Accelerator Best Project title at the Enactus Canada National Exposition Opening Ceremony today.  This project’s mission is to help youth succeed in today’s challenging world. The project offers free workshops, events, and a resource portal with the goal of filling any gaps in knowledge on subjects that aren’t usually covered in traditional education. This year, the team has expanded the project reach to encompass more than 5 cities and has directly impacted 1600 youth. 

In operation since 2019, the RBC Future Launch Project Accelerator is designed to empower Enactus teams with the resources needed to identify, create, and deliver projects that help young Canadians prepare for a drastically changing workforce through work readiness and skills development.  

RBC Future Launch is RBC’s $500 million commitment to empowering Canadian youth for the jobs of tomorrow. RBC is committed to helping young people prepare for the future of their work through practical work experience, skills development, networking and access to mental well-being supports and services.

The Enactus Canada National Exposition is an annual three-day event that unites hundreds of delegates including the country’s brightest university and college students, academic professionals, and top Canadian CEOs to enable progress by supporting entrepreneurial action through competition, recognition and education.
