(CALGARY) 27 February 2020 – This country’s largest post-secondary experiential learning platform, Enactus Canada, kicks off its 2020 Regional Exposition – Western Canada today at the Hyatt Regency Calgary. The two-day event inspires and celebrates the entrepreneurial action of university and college student teams across Western Canada.

“We’re thrilled to be hosting in Calgary again as our student network continues to grow.” says Enactus Canada President Nicole Almond. “The Regional Exposition is a brilliant platform to showcase our future leaders from Western Canada. Our Enactus students are the frontrunners for positive change in our country.”

The Enactus Canada Regional Exposition brings together over 450 students, academic professionals, executives and entrepreneurs from Western Canada who are passionate about advancing the social, economic and environmental health of our country through entrepreneurial action.

Four team-based competitions focused on financial education, climate change, youth empowerment and entrepreneurship will take place at the event. Enactus students will demonstrate the impact of their community empowerment projects to panels of business executives serving as judges.

Regional Champions will be named in each challenge at the Awards Ceremony at 5pm on Friday, February 28. They will move on to the national level of competition taking place May 19-21 at the 2020 Enactus Canada National Exposition in Toronto, Ontario.
