(TORONTO) 14 May 2018: Students at McGill University paired newcomers to Canada with MBA mentors, helping them with job search and interview skills and connecting them with resources to help support their families.
McGill University has been awarded 2018 RBC Newcomer Advancement Project Best Project at the 2018 Enactus Canada National Exposition in Toronto.
This year, the team worked with 12 individuals, helping 6 gain full time employment.

The RBC Newcomer Advancement Project Accelerator was designed to accelerate the advancement of newcomers to Canada, creating social and economic opportunities that will strengthen the well-being of communities.
The 2018 Enactus Canada National Exposition unites 1,500 delegates including the country’s brightest university and college students, academic professionals and top Canadian CEOs to enable progress by supporting entrepreneurial action through competition, recognition and education.
