David BraunCALGARY (March 11, 2013) – David Chad Braun, University of Regina student and owner of Student Works Painting was named a 2013 Enactus Canada Student Entrepreneur Regional Champion on Friday, March 8 in Calgary.

Champions were named by national charitable organization, Enactus Canada and proud program supporter, the John Dobson Foundation as part of the Student Entrepreneur National Competition.

Braun received the title of Student Entrepreneur Regional Champion by impressing a judging panel of leading industry professionals with his ability to balance the demands of a full time university course load with the pressures of running a successful company.

A franchise in the city of Moose Jaw, Student Works Painting offers superior quality interior and exterior paint jobs on both the residential and commercial business. Student Works is an independent company dedicated to the professional training of young entrepreneurs who seek an opportunity to expand their skill set and overall knowledge of the business industry.

With the regional title, Braun now also has the chance to become National Champion at the 2013 Enactus Canada National Exposition in Toronto, Ontario taking place on May 8th. The National Champion will receive a $10,000 cash prize and represent Canada at the international level of competition, the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards.
