(TORONTO) 18 May 2020 – Students at Wilfrid Laurier University launched a social enterprise that employs adults with developmental disabilities to develop package-free, single-use sustainable toiletry products for hotels and consumers.

Their efforts were recognized on May 15 through the 2020 Virtual Enactus Canada National Exposition Opening Ceremony, where Wilfrid Laurier – Waterloo won the award for the 3M Canada Project Accelerator Best Project for EarthSuds.

The Enactus Laurier team currently has two hotel pilots running, enabling the distribution of over 400 EarthSuds samples.
