Congratulations to Estelle Saab from McGill University, this year’s Enactus Woman Leader of the Year. Her transformational leadership and impact as President this year helped to rebuild the team from the ground up.
This year the team launched three new projects and all three were awarded recognition at the Central Regional Exposition, including Regional Champion for One Bite in the Canadian Tire Environmental Sustainability Impact Challenge. Estelle also reignited engagement within her team by building new partnerships and fostering a more collaborative and ambitious team culture.
“Leadership means being the anchor of a team by being present, supportive, and genuinely connecting with those around you. I always made sure that everyone felt heard and believed in what we were building. More than leading a team, I wanted to build a culture where people supported one another, grew together, and genuinely wanted to be there.” commented Estelle Saab, President of Enactus McGill University
Alongside Estelle, nine other outstanding students were recognized as finalists for the Woman Leader of the Year award, which celebrates excellence in entrepreneurship and supports emerging young leaders across Canada. Estelle will receive a $2,500 bursary, and all finalists will have the opportunity to receive mentorship from women entrepreneurs and business leaders.
