The Champion of Enactus represents a partner or business leader that plays an instrumental role in supporting and advancing the work of Enactus Canada.
The Founder’s Bursary, presented by the John Dobson Foundation, awards 20 student leaders with $2,500 in recognition of their community impact.
The Whitney Barham Social Justice Bursary of $2,500 is awarded to one student that has demonstrated an active role in promoting social justice.
Nominations are open for awards until March 27 at 11:59 PM (ET). You are encouraged to nominate a teammate. Self-nominations are also welcome.

The Student Leader of the Year Award celebrates the Student Leader (President or Co-President) who has made the most outstanding contribution to their Enactus team.
To qualify for this award, nominees must be the Student Leader (Team President or Co-President) of their Enactus team for the current academic year and participate in the annual Enactus Canada National Exposition with a competing team. They must also be registered on Cactus.
Nominations will be accepted from any student, faculty member, or academic leader, including the nominee themselves. To nominate a student for this award, please submit a nomination form outlining the reasons why you believe this individual has made an outstanding contribution to their Enactus team, supporting and advancing the team’s success.
Note: If the nomination does not originate from the faculty advisor, your Program Manager may seek approval from the nominee’s faculty advisor via email.
Applicants will be evaluated on the following:
Vision and leadership
Team Advancement: how far the team has advanced throughout the current academic year.
Team Sustainability: how well the team is set up for future success.
One (1) nominee will be recognized as the Student Leader of the Year at the Enactus Canada National Exposition. The recipient will receive a $2,000 stipend and up to $3,000 in travel costs covered to attend that year’s Enactus World Cup.

To recognize the student Project Manager (or Co-Project Manager) who has made the most outstanding contribution to their Enactus team.
Must be a Project Manager (or Co-Project Manager) on an active Enactus team for the current academic year and participate in the annual Enactus Canada National Exposition with a competing team. They must also be registered on Cactus.
Note: Student Leaders (Team Presidents/Co-Presidents) are not eligible for this award.
Nominations will be accepted from any student, faculty member, or academic leader, including the nominee themselves. To nominate a student for this award, please submit a nomination form outlining the reasons you believe the nominee has made an outstanding contribution to the project they ran, achieving positive and sustainable impact in their community.
Note: If the nomination does not originate from the faculty advisor, your Program Manager may seek approval from the nominee’s faculty advisor via email.
Nominees will be evaluated on the following:
Vision and Leadership
Project Advancement: how far the project has progressed throughout their time as Project Manager for the current academic year.
Meaningful Impact: the depth and quality of impact this project has achieved on project beneficiaries.
Project Sustainability: how well the project is set up for future success.
The recipient of this award will receive a $2,500 bursary and be formally recognized at the Enactus Canada National Exposition.

To recognize an Enactus student that embodies the Enactus spirit and has done an outstanding job in advocating for social change and their team’s project(s).
To qualify for this award, nominees must be an Enactus student for the current academic year. This award is NOT open to the Student Leader(s) (President or Co-President) or any Project Managers of the team. They must be registered on the Cactus. The student must attend the Enactus Canada Regional and National Expositions.
Nominations will be accepted from any student, faculty, or academic leader, including the nominee themselves. To nominate a student for this award, please submit a nomination form listing the reasons why you believe this individual displays the Enactus spirit and mission.
Applicants will be evaluated on the following:
One (1) nominee will be formally recognized as the Spirit of Enactus at the Enactus Canada National Exposition.
To recognize one (1) Enactus student that has gone above and beyond in providing tech support to their team throughout the year, as well as driving the creation of their Enactus Canada Regional Exposition and/or National presentation.
To qualify for this award, a team must compete in the Enactus Canada Regional and National Exposition. They must be registered on the CACTUS.
Any student, faculty advisor, or academic leader may nominate an Enactus team by filling out a nomination form outlining how the individual did an outstanding job in creating the presentation.
The nomination will be evaluated on the following contributions for the current academic year:
NOTE: This award does not focus on visual appeal but rather on the effort of leading the creation of the Regional and/or National presentation.
The recipient of this award will be formally recognized at the Enactus Canada National Exposition.
PURPOSE
The Enactus Woman Leader of the Year Award is designed to inspire and recognize excellence in entrepreneurial student leaders within the Enactus Canada network and support young emerging leaders across Canada.
ELIGIBILITY
Nominee must be an active student that self-identifies as female, enrolled in the Enactus program during the current academic year, and participating in the Enactus Canada National Exposition. They must also be registered on Cactus.
HOW TO APPLY
Nominations will be accepted from any Enactus student or faculty advisor, including the nominee themselves. To nominate a student for this award, please submit a nomination form outlining the qualifications of your nominee as an Enactus Woman Leader of the Year. Your nomination should include specific details of the nominee’s achievements and the qualities they possess that have inspired your nomination. Multiple nominations from each Enactus team and self-nominations are encouraged.
NOTE: If the nomination doesn’t come from the faculty advisor, your Enactus Program Manager will seek approval by the nominee’s faculty advisor via email.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Applicants will be evaluated on their vision and leadership abilities; use of business concepts to improve the quality of life and standard of living of others; their ability to serve as a role model and inspire others; and demonstration of their efforts to empower aspiring and/or existing entrepreneurs. RECOGNITION
PURPOSE
The Enactus Canada Community Service Leadership Recognition Program sets out to recognize hard-working students for their time and efforts invested in Enactus activities.
HOW TO APPLY
Students do not need to apply for this recognition program. Contact and volunteer hour data will be pulled from the CACTUS submitted by the Final Reporting Deadline, confirming volunteer hours for each student member. Hours must be properly inputted to CACTUS.

To recognize a John Dobson Enactus Fellow that has made an outstanding contribution in the past academic year, advancing entrepreneurial learning at their school in addition to mentoring and coaching students involved in the Enactus team.
ELIGIBILITY
The award is available for an existing John Dobson Enactus Fellow that has mentored an Enactus team that is competing in the Enactus National Competition in the current academic year. They must participate in the Enactus Canada National Exposition. They must be registered on the CACTUS.
HOW TO APPLY
Any student, faculty advisor, or academic leader may nominate the individual by submitting a nomination form outlining how the nominee has advanced entrepreneurial learning through the mentorship and coaching of students on their Enactus team.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Applicants will be evaluated on the contributions made to their Enactus team and their ability to advance entrepreneurial learning and mentorship at their academic institution.
RECOGNITION
The recipient of this award will be formally recognized at the Enactus Canada National Exposition.

PURPOSE
To recognize a new faculty advisor that has made an outstanding contribution in the past academic year, advancing entrepreneurial learning at their school in addition to mentoring and coaching students involved in the Enactus team.
ELIGIBILITY
The faculty advisor must have mentored an Enactus team that is competing in the Enactus Canada National Exposition and must attend the event. This must be the faculty advisor’s first National Exposition appearance with a competing Enactus team. They must be registered on the CACTUS. The Faculty Advisor must not have previously been inducted as a John Dobson Enactus Fellow
HOW TO APPLY
Any student, faculty advisor, or academic leader may nominate the individual by submitting a nomination form outlining how the nominee has advanced entrepreneurial learning through the mentorship and coaching of students.
SELECTION CRITERIA
The Collaboration Applicants will be evaluated on the contributions made to their Enactus team and their ability to advance entrepreneurial learning and mentorship at their academic institution in the past year.
RECOGNITION
The recipients of this award will be formally recognized at the Enactus Canada National Exposition.

PURPOSE
To recognize the contribution made by faculty advisors as they mentor, coach and teach the students of the team on their campus
ELIGIBILITY
To qualify as a John Dobson Enactus Fellow, an individual must:
Be employed by the academic institution of the team they are supporting
Mentor the Enactus team on their campus throughout the year
Be involved in preparing the Enactus team for all levels of competition
Be actively advocating for the Enactus team to campus administration
Attend the Enactus Canada National Exposition in person
Be the advisor to a team competing in the Enactus National Competition
They must be registered on the Registration & Reporting platform
HOW TO APPLY
Faculty advisors do not need to apply for this recognition program.
RECOGNITION
When first inducted to the fellowship, John Dobson Enactus Fellows are recognized with a plaque at the National Exposition. Additionally, as outlined in the Team Affiliation Agreement, one (1) John Dobson Enactus Fellow per Enactus team will also receive a $1,000 stipend to help cover costs of travelling to attend the National Exposition with their competing team.

Individual Alumni and their volunteer contributions to the teams, engagement, and beyond.
PURPOSE
To recognize outstanding alumni that have gone above and beyond to support Enactus Canada’s mission beyond graduation and continue to embody the values and teachings of Enactus in their chosen profession.
ELIGIBILITY
The nominee must be an alumnus of an Enactus program (Enactus or Student Entrepreneur) and must no longer be an undergraduate student at a Canadian college or university.
HOW TO APPLY
Any alumni, student or academic leader must submit a nomination form outlining the reasons they believe the nominee fulfils the above criteria and why they deserve the award.
SELECTION CRITERIA
The recipient of the Alumni of the Year Award will be selected based on how well the nominee has achieved the following:
Success in their chosen profession
Exemplification of the Enactus values of integrity, passion, innovation, and collaboration in their life and chosen profession
Continued dedication to achieving social impact through entrepreneurial action
Continued support and dedication to Enactus
