Faculty Advisor Research Fund
To recognize the hard work and dedication of Enactus Team Faculty Advisors, a research fund was created through the support of the John Dobson Foundation. A pool of $20,000 is available annually to support research projects aligned with the Enactus Canada Mission. Applications open in late 2025.
John Dobson Fellowship – To become a John Dobson Enactus Fellow, you must actively mentor your Enactus team, guiding them on project development and coaching presentation teams, and attend the Enactus National Exposition with a team competing in the National Enactus Competition.
John Dobson Fellow of the Year: Awarded annually to a Fellow who has made significant impact as a coach or mentor.
Rookie Faculty Advisor of the Year: Awarded to the new Faculty Advisor (started in the current academic year) who has shown exceptional dedication and support.
Enactus, in partnership with leaders from business and higher education, provides students with a platform where they can apply what they’re learning in the classroom to entrepreneurship, business, and socioeconomic issues. Teams develop projects that create impact in the community and beyond, developing a sense of ownership and pride with social purpose.
Through mentorship and leadership, you'll support teams in delivering impactful projects and supporting entrepreneurial leaders.
Advisors and executives involved with Enactus represent an influential group of leaders from a diverse range of universities and industries. As an academic supporter, you have the opportunity to participate in this network through numerous events at regional, national, and international levels. You will have the opportunity to participate in training sessions, apply for research funding, and participate in global forums
Contribute to the positive reputation of your academic institution with team successes. Your teams have fun, travel and represent their institution at regional, national, and global competitions where teams showcase the impact of their efforts to thousands of delegates each year.
If your campus doesn’t already have an Enactus team, you can start one. We’ll assign you a dedicated Program Manager to give you all the information and resources you need to set you up for success.
