(MONTREAL, QC) May 1, 2023 – A team of students from Concordia University created Codelle – a series of free coding workshops to female students to widen career opportunities. The team aims to eliminate the intimidation of computer science amongst girls and encourage them to pursue a career in the field.
Enactus Concordia University was awarded the 2023 RBC Future Launch Project Accelerator Best Project title today at the Enactus Canada National Exposition Opening Ceremony.
In operation since 2019, the RBC Future Launch Project Accelerator is designed to empower Enactus teams with the resources needed to identify, create, and deliver projects that help young Canadians prepare for a drastically changing workforce through work readiness and skills development.
RBC Future Launch is RBC’s $500 million commitment to empowering Canadian youth for the jobs of tomorrow. RBC is committed to helping young people prepare for the future of the work through practical work experience, skills development, networking and access to mental well-being supports and services.
