GROW YOUR NETWORK
WONDERING WHERE TO BEGIN?
You don’t have to be an insider to start thinking like one! Every network has to start somewhere, so whether you’re tuned in or just starting fresh, we’re here to help you take your network to the next level.
Networking can be as simple as a casual chat over coffee (or tea), and helps you to:
- Gain a better understanding of what careers are available
- Develop your communications skills through real-world practice
- Share ideas and explore innovative new skills and opportunities
SET YOURSELF UP FOR SUCCESS
A professionally written LinkedIn profile allows you to create an online professional brand which can help open doors to opportunities and networks that you may not have been aware of without the help of social media.
LinkedIn gives you the ability to showcase your profile, expertise, recommendations and connections. Not only is your profile the first professional impression of you when recruiters and employers use LinkedIn to search for candidates, but it also demonstrates credibility in your industry and highlights your achievements.
A great headshot ensures you’re making the best impression possible, which makes you feel good about your personal brand and what others are thinking when they see your image for the first time!
Thanks to RBC Foundation, Enactus Canada students now have the opportunity to take a professional headshot via Snapbar, a virtual photo booth that walks you through the simple process!
Enactus Canada is proud to partner with MENTOR Canada to bring #PowerofMentoring events to Enactus students across the country.
#PowerofMentoring events are virtual networking and skill-building experiences are designed to support youth ages 18-24 to expand their network, enhance employment skills and increase access to job opportunities. Through participation, youth will gain an understanding of the practical job skills required to meet labour market demands, develop an awareness of the future of work, and learn how to access opportunities aligned to their academic, career and life goals.
