Alex Kall headshot - New BrunswickHALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA (March 2, 2015) – Alex Kall, owner of Pilōtalk and student at the University of New Brunswick, has been named Atlantic Canada’s 2015 Student Entrepreneur Regional Champion. Regional Champions in Atlantic Canada were named by this country’s largest student leadership development organization, Enactus Canada, and proud program supporter, the John Dobson Foundation as part of the Student Entrepreneur National Competition.

Kall was crowned Student Entrepreneur Regional Champion because of his ability to combine a love for technology with his desire to make people feel happy and comfortable. For the one in seven adult Canadians who have difficulty sleeping, Pilōtalk produces short, relaxing audiobooks specifically for bedtime listening. Unlike big distributors, Pilōtalk focuses on the human connection of storytelling and leverages their expertise in 3D audio to ease users into slumber.

This title allows Kall to showcase his business and personal accomplishments on the national stage at the Enactus Canada National Exposition in Toronto on May 12, 2015, where he will compete for the title of Student Entrepreneur National Champion.

“Alex is such a passionate and innovative young entrepreneur,” explains Enactus Canada president Nicole Almond. “This entrepreneurial spirit is what built this country and we want to encourage and celebrate this in young leaders across Canada.”

Kall will now compete against five other Student Entrepreneur Regional Champions from across Canada for the national title, a $10,000 cash prize and the John Dobson Cup.
