(TORONTO) May 10, 2022: A group of students from the University of British Columbia – Vancouver created an interactive workshop comprised of team exercises and pitch competitions that provides students aged 13 to 18 the entrepreneurial and soft skills required to launch and operate a social enterprise.
Enactus UBC Vancouver was awarded the 2022 Shaw Youth Entrepreneurship Project Accelerator Best Project title at the 2022 Enactus Canada National Exposition Opening Ceremony today.
Through project Ennovate, Enactus UBC Vancouver empowered nearly 400 students across Vancouver to pursue business and entrepreneurship as a viable career path. Seventeen new business also launched thanks to their program.

Developed in partnership with Shaw Business, the Shaw Youth Entrepreneurship Project Accelerator is designed to empower Enactus teams in Western Canada with the resources needed to identify, create and deliver projects that empower entrepreneurs aged 25 and under.
The Enactus Canada National Exposition unites hundreds of delegates including the country’s brightest university and college students, academic professionals and top Canadian CEOs to enable progress by supporting entrepreneurial action through competition, recognition and education.
