The Enactus Canada national office played an April Fools’ joke on its network today by announcing it was changing its name…again.
Formerly known as Advancing Canada Entrepreneurship (ACE), Enactus Canada completed an organizational rebrand in February, 2013. But today, on April Fools’ Day, they punked their online followers by announcing they were reverting back to ACE “after much deliberation here at the National Office.” They even changed their social media profiles to reflect the retired ACE brand.
Rest-assured, Enactus Canada remains Enactus Canada, a proud part of the global Enactus network.
With the good spirited nature of its stakeholders, Enactus Canada appreciates the ribbing and commentary that resulted from the 60 minute prank. Happy April Fools’ Day!
April Fools’ Day is celebrated in many countries on April 1st every year. Sometimes referred to as All Fools’ Day, April 1st is widely recognized and celebrated as a day when people play practical jokes and hoaxes on each other.
