TORONTO, ONTARIO (February 9, 2015) – This country’s largest student leadership development organization, Enactus Canada, announced the 2015 Student Entrepreneur Provincial Champions today as part of its one of a kind Student Entrepreneur National Competition, proudly presented by the John Dobson Foundation.
The 2015 Student Entrepreneur Provincial Champions are:
- Newfoundland and Labrador: Noel Moffatt, owner of Athlete Aid Apparel and student at Memorial University of Newfoundland
- Nova Scotia: Carlisle Norwood, owner of Freshman Services and student at Dalhousie University
- Nova Scotia: Matthew Lee, owner of H2Oasis and student at Dalhousie University
- New Brunswick: Alex Kall, co-owner of Pilōtalk and graduate student at the University of New Brunswick
- Quebec: Samuel Laventure, owner of Laventure Arma and student at the Université de Montreal
- Ontario: David Salib, owner of Centricate and student at the University of Waterloo
- Ontario: Cole Jones, owner of Local Line and student at Wilfrid Laurier University
- Manitoba: Rhoni Mohanraj, owner of Trident Music and student at Brandon University
- Saskatchewan: Jared Koehl, owner of Jared Koehl Enterprises and student at the University of Saskatchewan
- Alberta: Bojan Konstandinovic, owner of Intelife and student at the University of Alberta
- Alberta: Michael Tessier, owner of Good Roots Landscaping Inc. and student at the University of Alberta
- British Columbia: Kevin Cruz, owner of ORA Scents and student at Simon Fraser University
“Entrepreneurial leaders will solidify Canada’s place in the global economy, and we celebrate and support student entrepreneurs from across Canada,” explains Enactus Canada president Nicole Almond. “We are proud to shape generations of entrepreneurial leaders and showcase them and their businesses through provincial, regional and national rounds of competition.”
Students will compete against other Student Entrepreneur Provincial Champions in Atlantic, Central and Western Canada for regional titles and the chance to move on to the 2015 Enactus Canada National Exposition in Toronto, Ontario taking place May 11-13. The National Champion will receive a $10,000 cash prize and take home the John Dobson Cup.
