We’ve got some new faces joining us at the National Office this fall! Enactus fam, give a warm welcome to Shevien Rhule, our RBC Career Launch Associate! She’s joining the Marketing & Digitization team to help us streamline processes!
In true Enactus Canada fashion, we asked hard-hitting questions to get to know Shevien – these were her responses:
- Waffles or Pancakes?
- Waffles – The multi-dimensional texture makes the flavour seem enhanced
- Guac or Salsa?
- Guac
- Big City or Small-Town Countryside?
- Small-town countryside. I enjoy pretending to live out my best Gilmore Girls life
- Winter or Summer?
- Fall. Fashion. Always.
- Netflix or Prime Video?
- Netflix
- Are you a subtitles on movies/tv shows person?
- Yes! The audio in movies and TV shows can be inconsistent sometimes.
- What was the most recent book you’ve read?
- “Cytonic” by Brandon Sanderson. I’m currently on a sci-fi kick, and Brandon Sanderson is such an amazing world-builder.
- What’s the most recent song you’ve listened to?
- “Someday” by Mariah Carey. I’m getting ready to start playing her Christmas albums on November 1st.
- What fictional world would you most like to live in?
- I’d love to live in the movie “Whisper of the Heart” by Studio Ghibli. I feel so much happiness and nostalgia each time I watch it.
- Would you rather have an unlimited gift card to a restaurant or a clothing store?
- Restaurant – it would be fun to try new dishes whenever I want, and I’d love not having to cook as often.
- Would you rather be able to play any instrument or speak any language?
- Speak any language. It would be great to easily connect with people around the globe.
- Would you rather never get a cold ever again or never be stuck in traffic ever again?
- Never be stuck in traffic again. As a commuter, my time is too valuable.
- Would you rather have a third ear or a third eye?
- Third eye. Maybe then I’d have 20/20 vision.
- If you could bring back any fashion trend what would it be?
- I’d love to see more fashionable cold-weather hats. Berets, cloche and wide-brimmed hats are so fun to see.
- Are you a podcaster? What’s your favorite podcast?
- Yes! It’s quite new, but I’m loving the slow fashion podcast called “Sustain This”
- What is the country on the top of your travel bucket list?
- Canada! I know I live here, but there is so much to explore!
- You have your own late night talk show, who do you invite as your first guest?
- My siblings. We can easily talk about nothing for hours, solely communicating through laughter. It would help make the time go by faster for me.
