Project Accelerators

Developed through collaboration with corporate and organizational partners, Project Accelerators provide Enactus teams with the opportunity to apply to receive funding and/or mentorship to support the development of projects focused on a specific need or community group.

Project Accelerators provide organizations with an opportunity to mobilize emerging leaders to support community priorities while fostering relationships with enterprising youth.

2025-2026 Project Accelerators


Alterna Savings SDG Project Accelerator

The Alterna Savings SDG Project Accelerator aims to empower Enactus teams in Ontario with the resources to identify, create, and deliver innovative social enterprises that address at least one of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Examples of this could include, but are not limited to:

    • SDG 1: No Poverty – Develop solutions that contribute to poverty reduction through economic empowerment and access to essential resources.
    • SDG 4: Quality Education – Create innovative educational tools or programs that enhance access to quality education and lifelong learning opportunities.
    • SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth – Foster inclusive economic growth and employment opportunities through skill development and entrepreneurship.
    • SDG 17: Partnership for the Goals – Build and leverage strategic partnerships to enhance the effectiveness, reach, and sustainability of your solutions.

In the 2025-2026 academic year, six (6) Enactus teams from Ontario will receive a $2,500 project grant to advance their proposed project.

Capital Power Powering Change by Changing Power Project Accelerator

The Capital Power Powering Change by Changing Power Project Accelerator empowers Enactus teams with the resources needed to create and deliver projects that advance climate action and strengthen the resilience of local communities.

  • Climate Action & Resiliency: Local strategies that help communities adapt to or mitigate the effects of climate change.
  • Environmental Innovation: Community-driven efforts to reduce emissions, protect natural ecosystems, or promote sustainable practices (e.g., community gardens, waste reduction, environmental stewardship).
  • Carbon Reduction: Projects involving renewable energy, and lower-carbon solutions and technologies.

Six teams will receive a project grant of $2,500 to advance their projects. Two teams will be recognized at the National Exposition in May 2026 and will receive additional funding for Best Project – $3,000 and Runner-Up – $2,000. These teams will be decided in a Final Round of competition in April 2026.

Jeanne Sauvé Global Project Accelerator

The Jeanne Sauvé Global Project Accelerator is designed to empower Enactus teams with the resources needed to modify or expand existing projects to have an impact outside of Canada, in partnership with an Enactus team in the target country.

In the 2025-2026 academic year, six (6) Enactus teams will receive a $2,500 project grant to advance their proposed project.

Jeanne Sauvé Workplace Inclusion Project Accelerator

The Jeanne Sauvé Workplace Inclusion Project Accelerator is designed to empower Enactus teams with the resources needed to identify, create and deliver projects promote accessibility, equity, and inclusion for employees with disabilities.

It aims to address barriers faced by individuals with disabilities in the workplace, fostering an environment where all employees can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the organization’s success. 

In the 2025-2026 academic year, six (6) Enactus teams will receive a $2,500 project grant to advance their proposed project.

National Bank Indigenous Inclusion Project Accelerator

The National Bank Indigenous Inclusion Project Accelerator is designed to empower Enactus teams with the resources needed to identify, create and deliver projects that promote the social and economic inclusion of Indigenous peoples and/or entrepreneurs in Canada. 

In the 2025-2026 academic year, six (6) Enactus teams will receive a $2,500 project grant to advance their proposed project.

PC Financial Resilience Project Accelerator

The PC Financial Resilience Project Accelerator is designed to empower Enactus teams with the resources needed to identify, create and deliver projects that advance equity by using financial education to build resilience in underserved populations.

These populations could include, but are not limited to visible minorities, indigenous peoples, people with disabilities and/or women. 

In the 2025-2026 academic year, six (6) Enactus teams will receive a $2,500 project grant to advance their proposed project.

Ralph M. Barford Equal Access Project Accelerator

The Ralph M. Barford Equal Access Project Accelerator is designed to empower Enactus teams to create and implement projects that promote equality and access across various sectors, including education, healthcare, technology, environmental justice, food security, housing, and economic opportunity. 

In the 2025-2026 academic year, six (6) Enactus teams will receive a $2,500 project grant to advance their proposed project.

RBC Skills for a Thriving Future Project Accelerator

The RBC Skills for a Thriving Future Project Accelerator is designed to empower Enactus teams with the resources needed to identify, create, and deliver projects that help all Canadians prepare for a rapidly changing workforce through work readiness skill development. This initiative targets underserved populations, including youth, newcomers, Indigenous and First Nations peoples, individuals with disabilities, etc. 

Note: For this Project Accelerator, we define youth as individuals aged 15 to 29. 

In the 2025-2026 academic year, fifteen (15) Enactus teams will receive a $2,500 project grant to advance their proposed project.
