(TORONTO, ON) 7 March 2022 – Enactus Canada, a national charity and the country’s largest post-secondary experiential learning platform, is set to kick off its 2022 Regional Exposition today virtually. The week-long event brings together some of Canada’s brightest post-secondary students and business executives from across the country in a celebration of inspiring entrepreneurial action of university and college student teams regionally, across Canada.
“The Enactus Canada Regional Exposition is a platform that showcases our future leaders from Western, Central, and Atlantic Canada, and this year’s virtual event is shaping up to be our most impactful yet,” says Enactus Canada President Nicole Almond. “Enactus students are resilient by their very nature. After more than two years of living in a COVID-climate, the scale of the impact that these students are generating with their community projects never ceases to amaze us. These students are the future leaders of our country that have a head for business and a heart for the world.”
The Enactus Canada Regional Exposition 2022 will bring together thousands of students, academic professionals, executives and entrepreneurs from Central, Western and Atlantic Canada who are passionate about advancing the social, economic and environmental health of our country through entrepreneurial action.
Three team-based competitions: the CWB Financial Education Challenge, Scotiabank Climate Action Challenge, and the TD Entrepreneurship Challenge will take place at the event. Enactus students will demonstrate the impact of their community empowerment projects to panels of business executives serving as judges. The event will also include pitch competitions, which will be announced during the event’s Opening Ceremony on March 7, 2022, at 12 pm EST.
Regional Champions will be named in each challenge at the Awards Ceremony at 3pm EST on March 12, 2022. They will move on to the national level of competition taking place in May 2022 at the Enactus Canada National Exposition 2022.
