(TORONTO) 12 March 2021 – Enactus Canada, a national charity and the country’s largest post-secondary experiential learning platform, kicks off its 2021 Regional Exposition today online. The week-long event inspires and celebrates the entrepreneurial action of university and college student teams regionally, across Canada.
“The Enactus Canada Regional Exposition is a platform that showcases our future leaders from Western, Central and Atlantic Canada, and this year’s virtual event is more accessible than ever,” says Enactus Canada President Nicole Almond. “Enactus students demonstrated great resilience and adaptability the past year, creating and pivoting projects amid the Covid-climate, exemplifying why they are the frontrunners for positive change in our country.”
This year, the Enactus Canada Regional Exposition will bring together thousands of students, academic professionals, executives and entrepreneurs from Central, Western and Atlantic Canada who are passionate about advancing the social, economic and environmental health of our country through entrepreneurial action.
Three team-based competitions focused on financial education, climate action and entrepreneurship will take place at the event. Enactus students will demonstrate the impact of their community empowerment projects to panels of business executives serving as judges. For the first time, the event will also include a series of live idea pitches that will be announced during the event’s Opening Ceremony on March 12, 2021 at 3pm EST.
Regional Champions will be named in each challenge at the Awards Ceremony at 3pm EST on March 19. They will move on to the national level of competition taking place in May 2021 at the 2021 Enactus Canada National Exposition.
