HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA (March 10, 2014) – Jessica Wilson, student at the Université Sainte-Anne, received the 2014 HSBC Woman Leader of Tomorrow Award for Atlantic Canada from this country’s largest student leadership development organization, Enactus Canada, and proud program supporter, HSBC Bank Canada. The award presentation took place at the 2014 Enactus Canada Regional Exposition on March 7 in Halifax.
Jessica Is known for her ability to create and her bilingual communication skills are a great asset to the Enactus team at Université Sainte-Anne.
She has helped build one of her team’s newest projects, which supports adults with intellectual and other challenges by helping create a social enterprise to fund a partner not-for-profit organization. She also sits on the Board of Directors for the Clare Chamber of Commerce.

The HSBC Woman Leader of Tomorrow Award is designed to recognize, celebrate and honour female university and college students – on a regional and national level – who exemplify success and inspire their peers, community and country through entrepreneurial leadership.
Jessica is one of six regional award winners from across Canada who will travel to the 2014 Enactus Canada National Exposition taking place in Calgary in April in the hopes of being named the national 2014 HSBC Woman Leader of Tomorrow.
The top 50 award applicants from across the country will also be invited to attend the exclusive HSBC Women’s Leadership Forum to be held at the 2014 Enactus Canada National Exposition. This annual forum will bring together the top entrepreneurial female leaders of today and tomorrow to dialogue and find solutions to Canada’s social, economic and environmental issues.
