(MONTREAL, QC) MAY 1, 2023 – Today, Enactus Canada, in partnership with Tourism Montreal, kicks off its 2023 National Exposition in Montreal, Quebec. The three-day event inspires and celebrates the impact university and college teams have driven across Canada over the past year.

“The National Exposition is a platform for Canada’s next-gen leaders to showcase the impact they’re creating in their communities.” says Allyson Hewitt, Enactus Canada President & CEO. “This past year, our network of Enactus students directly impacted the lives of 30,000 people. They truly are the champions for positive change in our country.”

The Enactus National Exposition provides a platform for Enactus teams to showcase the economic, social and environmental impact they have achieved this year through their community-based projects. Panels of business executives will serve as judges to help determine this year’s National Champion team.

This is the first year the Enactus Canada National Exposition will take place in Montreal. It all begins with the Opening Round of Competition, where teams will compete for one of 16 spots in our Semi-Final Round of Competition, taking place the following day. From those 16 teams, the top four will advance to our Final Round of Competition, compete for the National Champion title and earn the opportunity to represent Canada at the Enactus World Cup in the Netherlands this October.

In addition to the team-based competition, 12 Student Entrepreneur Finalists will be vying for the chance to be named Student Entrepreneur National Champion and win $10,000 for their business.
