(MISSISSAUGA) 9 March 2017 – This country’s largest post-secondary experiential learning platform, Enactus Canada, is hosting its 2017 Regional Exposition – Central Canada at the Hilton Mississauga Meadowvale on March 9-10, 2017. The event inspires and celebrates the entrepreneurial action of student teams across Central Canada.
“Every year, we continue to be inspired by the work of our student community,” says Enactus Canada President Nicole Almond. “This event is our opportunity to showcase and celebrate the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders from Central Canada.”
The Enactus Canada Regional Exposition brings together over 650 students, academic professionals, executives and entrepreneurs from Central Canada who are passionate about advancing the social, economic and environmental health through entrepreneurial action.
Four team-based competitions focused on financial education, environmental sustainability, youth empowerment and entrepreneurship will take place at the event. Enactus teams will demonstrate the impact of their community empowerment projects to panels of business executives serving as judges.
Regional Champions will be named in each challenge at the Awards Ceremony at 5pm on Friday, March 10. They will move on to the national level of competition taking place May 9-11 at the 2017 Enactus Canada National Exposition in Vancouver, British Columbia.
