CALGARY, ALBERTA (March 3, 2014) – Student teams and entrepreneurs, who are transforming lives through entrepreneurial action, were named 2014 Enactus Canada Regional Champions on February 28 in Calgary.
At the Enactus Canada Regional Exposition – Western Canada, two champions were named for the Capital One Financial Education Challenge, TD Entrepreneurship Challenge and the Scotiabank EcoLiving Green Challenge.

Post-secondary students who balance a full-time course load and a full-time business competed in the Student Entrepreneur National Competition, and two were named regional champions:

- Stephen Frederick, student at the University of Calgary and owner of Viewpoint Decking LTD
- Anastasia Szalasznyj, student at the University of Saskatchewan and owner of Winter Girl Boots & Accessories
Two outstanding female students were also presented with the HSBC Woman Leader of Tomorrow Award for Western Canada:

Regional champions will move on to the national level of competition taking place April 28-30 at the 2014 Enactus Canada National Exposition in Calgary, Alberta.
