WindsorMISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO (March 14, 2016) – Student teams and entrepreneurs, who are transforming lives through entrepreneurial action, were named 2016 Enactus Canada Regional Champions on March 11 in Mississauga.

At the Enactus Canada Regional Exposition – Central Canada, two champions were named for the Capital One Financial Education Challenge, Scotiabank EcoLiving Green Challenge and Scotiabank Youth Empowerment Challenge, while three were named in the TD Entrepreneurship Challenge.

Scott and BenPost-secondary students who balance a full-time course load and a full-time business competed in the Student Entrepreneur National Competition, and two were named regional champions:

Two outstanding female students were also presented with the HSBC Woman Leader of Tomorrow awards for Central Canada:

Regional champions will move on to the national level of competition taking place May 2-4 at the 2016 Enactus Canada National Exposition in Toronto, Ontario.
